| What can I expect during my peel? |
Before the procedure begins, a cleanser is applied to make sure that all of the oils and dirt are removed from your skin, allowing the solution to properly penetrate for maximum effect. You may feel slightly uncomfortable as the Vitalize Peel solution is applied, though cool air blown by a fan can relieve the slight burning sensation you are likely to feel. After the treatment our therapeutic water-based foundation makeup can be applied to protect and camaflouge so you can carry on with your usual activity. After the solution is put on, it will eventually be neutralized and removed with cool water. Then, within the next week there will be some peeling, tightening of the skin and flaking, after which your skin will start to heal properly, leaving your face looking great! |
| How often can I schedule my peels? |
| For best results we recommend a series of 2 to 3 treatments at a month apart and 1 treatment to be completed at a later date or at the Aesthetician's discretion. It is recommended that you do not exceed 4 treatments annually. |
